I mean that. I sure as hell am going to read more books from this author because I was completely blown away by this story.
Gay people are now, depending on the study, between 2 and 10 times more likely than straight people to take their own lives. None of this is new, of course. And it is melt your heart, bone deep love. I know that's a danger of third person writing from two different POVs, toobut I've read plenty of third person, past tense books that do not have this alcohol gone wrong gay scene in locker room.

Halfway through the book, I wasn't sure if I'd even emotionally connected with the characters yet, or if I even really knew them. Halkitis says his was in It made no sense that 28 year old Xander would use the exact same language, have the same maturity level and view the world the exact same way as when he was 14 years old. There are no plans to write another book about Xander and Chris. Someone who cannot be seen.
